Planner products arrive as complete, ready-to-use files. After downloading one, you can make a personal working copy in Goodnotes, Notability, or another compatible app without changing the original file.

Step 1

Keep a clean original

Import the planner into your preferred note-taking app, then duplicate it before writing. Keep one untouched copy in your account downloads so you can always begin again.

Step 2

Set up the pages you use most

Use your app's page manager to duplicate reusable notes, project, or review pages inside your working copy. Keep dated and linked navigation pages in their original order so their links remain dependable.

Step 3

Add covers and stickers

Import a compatible cover as a new page, then move it to the front of your working copy.

Add transparent PNG stickers with your app's image or elements tool. Resize them on the page and save frequently used pieces to the app's reusable collection when supported.

  • Use PNG files for stickers so transparent edges remain clean.
  • Avoid deleting linked index, month, or week pages unless you are sure you no longer need their navigation.
  • Test one duplicated page and one sticker before organizing the whole file.

Step 4

Save and back up your working copy

  1. Rename the working copy so it is easy to distinguish from the untouched original.
  2. Let your note-taking app finish syncing before closing or switching devices.
  3. Export a backup periodically if the planner contains notes you cannot replace.
